Our classic German-style bratwurst is a mild white sausage, a finely ground mixture of pork and veal.

Traditional Germans like to pan-sear these beauties to a uniform golden-brown and serve with warm sauerkraut laced with caraway seeds, but we also like them gently toasted on an open grill.
